Lunch at The Irish Inn

Another Ride-To-Eat™ production!  Join us for a leisurely, social ride from Glen Echo to Great Falls Tavern and lunch at nearby Irish Inn.  This is a flat, well-shaded loop ride out on the C&O Canal towpath (hybrid bikes are ideal, though road bikes should not prove particularly challenging) from Glen Echo to Great Falls Tavern (toilets available), and back on the dedicated bike lane/path alongside MacArthur Boulevard.  After returning to the ride start, we will lunch at the nearby Irish Inn (menu: http://www.irishinnglenecho.com/pdf/menu_lunch2011.pdf). 

 Leader rides a slow "C" pace; all levels welcome.  Bring helmet, water, bike lock, money for lunch, and a bicycle in good repair with properly inflated tires.  If raining ride is no go.  Check the "Ride News" forum on the PPTC website for last-minute cancellation news (if you cannot access the forum, you may email the ride leader).
