WEDESDAY NIGHT TENNIS

Date and Time: Wednesdays, June 13 through August 22
(Play may be extended into September if there are rain-outs)

Time: 6:00-8:00 PM    Arrive 15 minutes before start time.
(in late August or September, the time changes to 5:30-7:30 due to light conditions) 

Cost: $7 members, $10 non-members (please bring change)
(2012 price may be higher by $1 - depends on cost of the contract not yet finalized)

Location: Potomac Park at Hains Point, 1090 Ohio Drive SW, Washington DC. Players meet at the Hains Point courts between the parking lot and the tennis courts.

Tennis players are pretty friendly - on court and off. Our SCWDC players are always looking forward to meeting new players and welcoming them into the SCWDC tennis player group. The tennis courts are in beautiful Potomac Park. Usually, social mixed doubles are played for all skill levels, matched by ability. Of course, bring your own racquet and tennis balls.

We have two one-hour sessions, the first at 6PM:, the second at 7PM. Arrive 15 minutes early to sign up if possible.

If you are not sure of rain conditions, you can phone East Potomac Tennis Center at 202-554-5962 to see if tennis play is on; because sometimes after an early afternoon rain, courts are playable by 6 PM.
