Burke Lake Park – Fairfax Station, VA
Date and Time: Saturday, June 2nd, 10 AM - 12 PM Noon-ish (Noon-ish)

Distance and Difficulty: 5 miles, Easy
Directions: 7315 Ox Road Fairfax Station, Virginia Take I-495 to Braddock Rd. West (Rt. 620). Take Braddock Rd. West 1.8 miles and turn left onto Burke Lake Rd. (Rt. 645). Follow Burke Lake Rd. 4.7 miles to Ox Rd. (Rt. 123). Turn left and go a short distance to the MAIN ENTRANCE to the park. Meet at the MARINA PARKING LOT.
There is an $10 per car fee to enter the park for non-Fairfax County residents. Therefore, anyone who would like to carpool can meet at 9:30 at the Fairfax Baptist Academy parking lot at 6401 Missionary Lane. Following directions above once onto Burke Lake Rd., follow most of the way and right after you cross Fairfax County Parkway turn right onto Missionary Lane.
Information: This hike is a level, 5 mile loop around the shores of Burke Lake. Enjoy a nice summer hike with views of this scenic Virginia Lake and shoreline! Be sure to wear sunscreen and bring a hat, because there are few shaded areas during the hike. The group will meet for lunch at a nearby restaurant, if there is sufficient interest.
